This Friday will be our next SUGAR run and planned event. We are planning on creating craft kits for the kids who stay at HOPE Family Services shelter to have something to do while there. This kit can also end up doubling as replacing a little lovey that they may have had to leave behind in the rush to leave their unsafe home environment.
Each child that comes will make two kits. They can choose to donate both kits or make one of the kits to keep. We will be reading a book entitled, Tiny Mama by Matthew Swanson and Robbi Behr. They’ll then get to make their very own tiny mama! This craft event will take place:
