We are so grateful for our opportunity to come visit with the folks at JFCS. We had such a wonderful afternoon making paper airplanes with them, flying our airplanes through hoops, and singing songs together. The event felt like a big family reunion. The kids were happily playing and chatting with their “adopted grandparents”, but the most wonderful moment that day was what one of the caregivers noticed.

She was so happy to see the woman she takes care of interacting so openly. The woman is normally unresponsive, but our volunteers brought so much joy to her that she was singing, dancing and talking to all the children. To know that we made this kind of difference in her life brought happy tears to our faces! That is what it is all about. That is why we create these events. We want our kids to know that just their smile and their presence is present enough for some!
